Grandes Éxitos Que Aún No Existen (“Greatest Hits That Do Not Yet Exist”) is a temporary collection of songs gathered from different corners of the El Cartel archive. Many tracks will eventually appear on future concept albums. Others may be altered, renamed, and/or disappear entirely for a long time. A few may never return.

Selected songs from the archive by our producer and Tango DJ El Librillo to introduce us at the Neo Tango Rave 2026 in Bremen (Germany).  What began as a pre-selection for 4 Dj-ing sets in Bremen became something else: a snapshot of a moving target.

Its less tradition-oriented and more experimental then our first album El Enganche Initial. The collection travels from tango to milonga, (sometimes within one song) from electronic landscapes to cinematic nocturnal journeys, from urban myths to the windswept horizons of the Pampa. Along the way it passes through distant cultures, forgotten stations, impossible fusions and the frontier territories where El Cartel likes to operate.

Included are the four-part cycle Crónicas de la Frontera, four collaborations with Toxorhynchites, experimental works from multiple cultures, and the extended bonus track Mito del Cartel.

This is not a definitive statement.

It is evidence.

A shipment in transit.

A provisional archive. A collection of Greates Hits that, do not yet exist.

Limited Archive Release
This collection may be withdrawn once the included tracks are released on their respective future albums. Early purchasers will retain permanent access to their downloads.
